Aimed at players who require the maximum amount of game enhancing performance, the new Cobra MAX family of woods and irons are designed to provide extreme forgiveness, optimal launch angles and a slice busting draw bias.
The Cobra MAX driver ($279) features an offset hosel and unique head weighting that combine to promote a right-to-left shot shape as well as a shallow face and low and deep CG location for easier launch and improved carry distance. A channel around the perimeter of the clubface creates increased rebound at impact and faster ballspeeds and distance. Loft options include 9.5, 10.5 O and 11.5O.
To accompany the drivers there's also Cobra MAX fairways ($199) and hybrids ($179), both of which contain most of the same technologies and performance benefits as the driver. The fairways are available in 3, 5, and 7 while the hybrids are available in 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7.
"At COBRA Golf, we want everyone to love the game and have fun on the course no matter their skill level, so we designed the COBRA MAX collection to give higher handicap golfers increased accuracy and distance over every shot -- to help them enjoy the game even more," notes Jose Miraflor, Director of Product Marketing at COBRA Golf.
Cobra MAX irons ($649 steel, $699 graphite) are available in an eight-piece set with five irons and three hybrids as well as in a women's combo option ($699). The 4-8 irons feature a half hollow design for maximum launch and distance while the short irons (9-PW) feature a cavity-back design for a combination of forgiveness and control. The gap wedge features a wide sole design for optimum performance from sand and trouble lies.
The full line of Cobra MAX clubs will be available on December 4th.
