Charl Schwartzel beat Bill Haas on the first playoff hole on Sunday to win the Valspar Championship, his first victory on the PGA Tour since the 2011 Masters.
Schwartzel's final-round 67 was the best of the day and allowed him to catch Haas, who had a five-stroke lead early in the round.
The hottest club on the course was Schwartzel's Nike Method Origin putter, with which he made a 64-foot bomb for birdie on the 13th hole and then another 23-footer on the 17th. In total the South African made 145 feet of putts on Sunday, by far the best in the field.
