Callaway is introducing three new lofts to their MD3 Milled Wedge line, a 50-degree W grind, a 52-degree W grind, and a 64-degree C grind ($129 each).
Like all MD3 wedges the new lofts feature a progressive groove design that optimizes spin for each loft to produce the ideal trajectory and green-holding spin from a wide variety of distance.
The W grind, which comes on the new 50- and 52-degree models, features a slightly wider sole that's aimed at providing improved performance in softer conditions and for players who have a steeper angle of attack.
The C grind, which comes on the new 64-degree, is better for firmer conditions and has ample heel and toe relief that makes it ideal for players who like to open the face for aggressive utility shots around the green. A high toe profile, semi-straight leading edge, and weight ports in the rear of the clubhead that allow for weight to be redistributed for greater versatility round out the features of the Roger Cleveland-designed wedges.
The new MD3 models will be available at retail on 6/3/16.
