Key Technologies: Premium black nickel finish minimizes glare while a traditional shape moves the center of gravity deeper in the clubhead for enhanced performance. Wide sole limits digging and increases versatility.
OUR TESTERS SAY: Well liked by most testers; straightforward design that provides solid, predictable results from all types of lies.
PLAYABILITY: These wedges, like their namesake (Mr. Watson), raise their game in challenging situations such as deep rough or sand.
DISTANCE CONTROL: Consistent control on both full and partial shots.
FEEL: Weighty sensation through the swing; crisp at impact with very good feedback to the hands; some testers say that contact is similar to a forged club.
LOOK: Dark, matte finish, conventional shape and straight leading edge combine for a pleasing appearance at address.
A bit firmer feel at impact than a few testers prefer; head is a little big for some and its finish fades relatively quickly.
