A new Callaway driver, the Big Bertha V Series, showed up this week at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio.
Though company representatives are officially mum on the new design, there's talk that the Big Bertha V Series is a lighter weight driver, similar to the FT OptiForce from a couple of years ago. It's safe to expect the new big stick will likely feature some of Callaway's premium technologies like a forged composite crown, "Hyper Speed" face (like the one used in the Big Bertha Alpha driver), and OptiFit adjustable hosel design.
Keep an eye out for the Big Bertha V Series in retail shops in the near future.
