The Opening Shot of the 2009 PGA Tour Season

The first shot of the 2009 PGA Tour season was struck by Mark Turnesa, winner of the 2008 Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas. On the first hole on the Plantation Course at the Kapalua Resort in Hawaii, Turnesa smacked a 353-yard drive down the hill. He went on to par the hole, but shot a six over par 79.
Turnesa's drive was struck with a Titleist 909D2 driver with a Grafalloy ProLaunch Red shaft.
