I enjoy the layout and design of this course; however, the general condition is something to be desired. This course plays well in late spring and early summer. Patches of crab grass, sitting water in some low areas of the fairways, and poorly manicured greens start to play a factor later in the year. The course is cheap to play, but you get what you pay for. If you are just looking for a fun course to go out a knock the ball around, host a small tournament, or party outing it's not a bad place. But the US Open won't be played at Sleepy anytime soon...
