Garden City Golf Club

Private, 18 holes, $60.00 - $80.00

Garden City Golf Club is consistently ranked as one of the top courses in the U.S. and the World by Golf Magazine's panel of experts.

Originally designed by Devereux Emmet, Garden City Golf Club was re-designed by one of the 20th century's best amateur players, Walter Travis, in 1908. It has been regarded as one of the great American courses ever since.

With wide open fairways and fescue rough, many people say that Garden City has the look and feel of a links course, but the Atlantic Ocean is more than 10 miles away and the turf is not sandy like a links course. Large mounds encircle many of the greens, which tend to be very small, and the fairways have a lot of a natural roll, so golfers rarely have a flat stance.

Garden City is men only; women are not allowed to be in the clubhouse or to play the course.
