As seen on the Golf Channel's "Destination Golf"
The WPCC is the second oldest golf club in the Central Florida area with a history that dates back to 1914. The course and clubhouse is on the National Register of Historic Places. At one point in its early history, the course was a 27 hole facility, making it one of the largest in the Southeast. Over time the course has been scaled down to its present day 9 hole layout. The clubs history includes play by the likes of Hogan, Snead, Sarazen and Hagen. With its narrow, tree-lined fairways and postage stamp, bunker guarded greens; this course will provide a test for every shot in a golfer’s arsenal. The course makes its way through the downtown Winter Park area and provides a challenge to even the most experienced golfer. The facility is run by the city of Winter Park, FL.
