Welcome to Mayfair Country Club, historic Sanford's only golf course and one of the very first courses built in all of Florida. Some of the greatest names in golf have played on the grounds at Mayfair. Through the years we have hosted greats such as Walter Hagen, Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer and many more. Mayfair Country Club is the gem in the crown that is the historic Seminole County golf community. We are located a mile off I-4 and close to local shopping and amenities, easy to reach from any part of Orlando, just 10 minutes from the Sanford Airport. We have a driving range, chipping and putting greens, lockers and showers available, plus a practice bunker to help you warm up!.
The amenities are nice, but the real star of the show at Mayfair County Club is the course layout, which was designed in the early 1920s. It is an open layout that is perfect for novice players and experts alike. This course is guaranteed to challenge all players with the strategic layout and the clever positioning of hazards and trees. Our fairways tend to be wider (as is typical of classic course designs), however, the approaches are forgiving enough to ensure that all players will feel competitive as they navigate these grounds. Water comes into play on more than half of our 18 holes.
