In October 2009, after a 3 ½ month closure and a $1million renovation project, Falcon’s Fire reopened. The renovations include new greens, which were resurfaced with TifEagle variety of turf – an ultradwarf Bermuda grass – providing golfers with faster, smoother putting conditions. Additional refinements to the course included the reshaping of bunkers and installing an improved greens irrigation and drainage system. In addition, the overseeding of the entire golf course has been completed and it is in pristine condition for the season. In late 2010, a major renovation to the Clubhouse has been completed, adding another $350,000 to the enhancement totals, and resulting in a more upscale feel to the pro shop, restaurant, and ballroom facilities at the club.
