About This Course
Minnechaug Golf Course features one of the most exciting attractions in all of golf, an island green. Hole #8, a 126-yard, par 3, which some consider to be the first island green of its kind in the nation is a gem for all to see.
The greens are challenging and smoother than ever. The tee boxes and fairways at Minnechaug are plush and in excellent shape due to the tremendous effort of superintendant Bryant Gregg and his staff.
Graham Clark did the original routing for the course, and Al Zikorus and William F. Mitchell did some redesigns years later.
The golf course intertwines with the Minnechaug Golf Village community providing a scenic view as you enjoy your round.
PGA Golf Professional John R. Dipollina heads the teaching program at Minnechaug as well as performs the duties of managing the pro shop. The Senior (60 Years+) and Junior (17 Years and under) discounts are good everyday and anytime! Town of Glastonbury residents enjoy a special discount to their rounds as well. Even though the course is only 9 holes, the two mens and ladies tees can be played together to make an eighteen hole round, and there are separate slope and course ratings for a full round.
Minnechaug has an alternative style restaurant in its clubhouse. Gina's Brick Oven Pizzeria features mouth-watering pizza as well as draft beer and wine. Gina's is the perfect compliment to a great day on the golf course.
