The course itself is nice enough. Staff in clubhouse weren't so friendly, but the Marshalls were nice enough. The course will challenge almost every aspect of your game, with rolling hills, flat holes, hazards everywhere. Just think about keeping it in play off the tee and par is a good score for this course. It will be much nicer as time goes by. Disappointed the driving range was closed for some unknown reason. Nice chipping and putting practice greens. Fairways and greens in very good condition. Pace of play was not enforced, so a round took 4 hours 40 minutes, way too long. With the pace of play not enforced and the fact the course layout is strange, I can only give this 3/5 stars. Layout being strange because you have to navigate through apartment parking lots and compete with speeding drivers in your cart. Easy to get lost in between holes 11 and 12, and several others. Other complaint is that the marker for number 18 lists incorrect yardage and calls it a par 5, the score card says it is a par 4 with shorter yardage, scorecard is correct, why haven't they fixed the 18th tee box sign?

Being a member at the course I was very disappointed with the way they treat the members, the range is only opened to UCA golf team, and as far as I know it will never open to members and guests. The layout is strange, but the individual holes are great. If you like walking it is very tough, but it is doable. The reason 9 and 18 are incorrect on the scorecard is they had the yardage book done and it was discovered that they original yardage was way wrong, so they changed 9 and 18 to par 4s.
