Rob Sauerhaft joined GOLF Magazine in 1989. As Managing Editor (Equipment), he produces The Shop, a monthly section that features product testing, trends, buying tips, what the pros play and the business of golf. In 1992, Rob conceived and executed ClubTest, the industry's first independent testing program using amateur golfers, for which he received a Golf Writers Association of America award. Prior to GOLF Magazine, he was a writer/producer at TV's Inside the PGA Tour. Sauerhaft has been a frequent guest on radio and TV. He lives in a suburb of New York City with his wife and daughter.
