Roberto Castro tees off on the second hole during Round 3 at the Sanderson Farms Championship at The Country Club of Jackson on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015, in Jackson, Mississippi.

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) Roberto Castro clung to a one-stroke lead in the Sanderson Farms Championship after playing the first six holes in the suspended third round in 2-over par Sunday.

Play was suspended because of darkness at the Country Club of Jackson and will resume Monday morning with the final round following immediately.

It has been a soggy, stop-and-start tournament that has required plenty of patience. Several players had their second rounds stretch over three days from Friday to Sunday as rain swept through the area.

Castro started play Sunday with a four-stroke lead, but quickly fell back toward the pack with bogeys on Nos. 3 and 4. They were his first two bogeys of the tournament.
