Rob Sauerhaft joined GOLF Magazine in 1989. He's in charge of The Shop, a monthly section that features product testing, trends, buying tips, what the pros play and the business of golf. He also writes for SI Golf Plus and GOLF.com, and has been a frequent guest on radio and TV. In 1992, Sauerhaft conceived and executed ClubTest, the industry's first independent testing program using amateur golfers, for which he received a Golf Writers Association of America award. Prior to GOLF Magazine, he was a writer/producer at TV's Inside the PGA Tour. Sauerhaft is a graduate of Colgate University.
