LONDON (AP) Former Masters champion Ian Woosnam will make his debut on the European Seniors Tour in March, two days after his 50th birthday.
Woosnam, a former top-ranked golfer who won at Augusta in 1991, has not played a European Tour event since July because of a continuing battle with chronic post-viral fatigue syndrome. But he is expected to play at the Barbados Open on March 4 at Royal Westmoreland.
"Being a resident in Barbados for some of the year means that I have the opportunity to play Royal Westmoreland fairly regularly, so it will be great to make my European Seniors Tour debut there," Woosnam said.
