PGA, Turner extend broadcasting rights contract

ATLANTA (AP) — The PGA of America and Turner Sports have extended their broadcasting rights contract through 2019.

The two sides announced the deal Thursday. TNT will continue to air coverage of the PGA Championship on Thursday and Friday and early on Saturday and Sunday. Turner will remain in charge of PGA.com.

Turner's Cartoon Network Enterprises will also handle the PGA's licensing deals for products aimed at young fans.
