Inbee Park rallies to lead LPGA Championship, Pressel one back

PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) -- Inbee Park shot a 4-under-par 68 to grab the lead after the third round of the rain-delayed LPGA Championship was completed early Sunday afternoon.

At 4-under 208, the top-ranked women's golfer is one up on Morgan Pressel at Locust Hill. Pressel relinquished her second-round lead by shooting a 71. Jiyai Shin is two off the lead after shooting a 69.

The fourth round of the Tour's second major began immediately after the third round was completed. Officials of the $2.25 million tournament squeezed the final 36 holes into one day after rain postponed the first round.

Park has three wins this season, including the Kraft Nabisco Championship, the first women's major.

She trailed Pressel by five strokes through nine holes before closing with four birdies. Pressel had bogeys on 10 and 12.
