Typically, when presented with a 3-foot putt, the inclination is to knock it in and be on your way. Easy, right?

But this golfer took it one step -- and a hill -- further. Instead of making a simple 3-foot putt while playing the ninth hole at The Golf House Club, Elie in Fife, Scotland, he tried something a little different: aiming straight up the hill to have the ball track slowly, effortlessly, into the hole.

Whatever gets you that birdie.
